Don't be old, don't be young, don't be sick, don't be poor, don't be out
of work, don't be in need of social housing, don't have too many children,
and of course don't have a drug problem.
(after Kinnock: we forget so quickly...)
Don't Panic! We're still here. It's just we've had a stylish makeover and spring clean. We've moved to a new address. The navigation has been improved. The pages will stay the same size. And some old material has been pruned away. We hope you like the new improved site. It was all done by the fabulous Ash at Wired Up Wales.
There's a KFx Facebook page (see to the right) via which you can keep up to date. This is to complement our Twitter feed in which complex and nuanced arguments are turned in to meaningless soundbites and drowned out in a sea of drivel. To follow us on Twitter go here.
News: The KFx Blog discusses developments in the drugs field. KFx News contains updates relating to the KFx Project such as site updates and new resources.
Training and Consultancy:: This section details all the important aspects of KFx training, including courses, outlines, fees and calendar to check if dates are free. Also has Information about consultancy services available from KFx.

and Housing Website at: www.drugsandhousing.co.uk
9th August: We wasted our weekend putting together the Big KFx Drugs Look Up Table - a huge hyperlinked data-base of drugs terms. The least you can do is have a look at it here.
The Blog has been updated and includes a look at the NTA business plan and the prospects of change for drug services as the NHS is restructured.
5th August: Mephedrone and Melanotan key facts cards online and for download.
The Drugs Facts File, which collates all the Drug Fact Sheets, Drug Facts Cards and Harm Reduction Cards in to one file with a nice cover can be downloaded from the Resources section.
2nd August: We've been pulling together new tables for all the drugs controlled under the Misuse of Drugs legislation in the UK as, strangely, there isn't a single list of them which is up to date and accurate on any websites. There's two versions: one is based on the published classes and schedules of drugs, and has been updated to include all the changes made by Statutory Instruments since 2003. This is all HERE.
The other version is a table based on an Home Office document, updated and expanded to list most controlled drugs alphabetically, with annotation to identify Class, Schedule, other names, type of drug and other key information. It's HERE.
We discuss the lack of a comprehensive, intelligible version of the drugs laws of the UK on the Blog.
28th July: Cannabis pack revised: The KFx Cannabis Pack has been revised and updated. There's a an expanded section on working with dependency, a whole collection of tools and resources at the back, and the statistics have all been updated in light of the new results from the British Crime Survey. It's just under 80 pages and available as a free download HERE. Or look at all the free resources in the Resources Section
20th June: Safer Injecting Resources:
1: The training slides for the Safer Injecting course have been completely overhauled. They are looking pretty fabulous. If you have previously attended a KFx Safer Injecting course and you want an electronic copy of the new slides then please contact KFx and say where and when you attended the Safer Injecting Course. You will then be sent a PDF of the slides.
2: There are a couple of slides available as a free download: a colour poster of key needle sizes and a flowchart to help with needle-size selection. You can find these new resources at the top of the Resources section.
